Christmas in the Town Hall

This free festive event in the prestigious Town Hall building hopes to put a bit of sparkle in your Christmas countdown!

Come and visit Father Christmas and receive a free gift. Taking a quick break from the North Pole, he will be in the Mayor’s Parlour from 10:00am until 4:00pm this year with his very friendly elves! Just make sure you have your Christmas lists at the ready!

There is also a craft market in the King Charles room, come and view our wide selection of craft stalls. Kidderminster Town Council is pleased to support local businesses so come and browse for a few handmade presents.

Community Awards 2018

The Community Awards scheme aims to recognise and reward individuals, projects, groups and organisations whose dedication and commitment has improved the lives and well-being of local residents. This year's awards were hugely successful and heart-warming, shining a light on the town's unsung community heroes.

Over 100 guests attended on the evening and Julian Brinton, Managing Director of Wool Classics was the guest of honour, presenting the awards alongside the Mayor of Kidderminster, Councillor Martin Stooke. Click here to read more or to see photos from the event.

Dementia Awareness Week #DAW2018

On Thursday 24th of May, we proudly supported Alzheimer's Society's Dementia Awareness Week, aiming to raise awareness of some of the excellent 'Dementia Friendly' organisations within Kidderminster.

had a great turnout with numerous #DementiaFriendly organisations joining the Mayor on a rainy day outside the Town Hall!

Mayor Making 2018

The Town Council was proud to host the prestigious annual Mayor Making Ceremony at Kidderminster Town Hall on Wednesday 9 May 2018. This traditional ceremony saw the new Mayor-Elect, Councillor Martin Stooke take office for the ensuing mayoral year.
