Kidderminster is the largest town in the district of Wyre Forest and the birthplace of Sir Rowland Hill, founder of the Penny Post.

Visit the Museum of Carpet, the town’s living legacy to 300 years of carpet heritage or walk along the towpath of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal.

The town has 3 shopping centres, a twice weekly market (Thursday and Saturday), a retail park, numerous independent traders, restaurants, pubs and cafés to suit all tastes and a diverse selection of places to stay.
